Recall of Dodge Rams issued by Chrysler for safety reasons
Chrysler recently issued a recall of some models of the Dodge Ram. The recall includes models of the vehicle that were manufactured from 2008-2011.
The vehicles were recalled because it was found that the left tie rod ball stud fractured easily, causing the left front wheel to lose directional stability. This could then lead to an accident. No accidents caused by the defect were reported prior to or following the recall.
Drivers who own the Dodge Ram have been advised to get in touch with a Chrysler dealership so that they may have their vehicle repaired for free.
