Man survives car accident, found two days later
His car hit a guard rail, became airborne, and landed on its roof, sliding out of sight by the edge of creek. A 25 year-old Kentucky man was trapped, upside down in his vehicle for 48 to 50 hours before he was rescued. Unfortunately, his wife did not survive the accident.
Officers say the man was found after someone found a cellphone by the side of the road. The person went to investigate more and found the car on its roof next to a bridge. The Jaws of Life had to be used to rescue the man; police on the scene didn’t know he was alive until they saw him move and heard him ask for water. He is currently in a Nashville hospital with life threatening injuries.
