Kevin Love suffers concussion during game
Minnesota Timberwolves power forward, Kevin Love, sustained a mild concussion and neck strain last week after he was elbowed in the face by Javale McGee in the first quarter against the Denver Nuggets.
Love was kept overnight at a nearby hospital as a precaution and did not play in Thursday’s game against the LA Clippers due to his injuries. He has also missed games against the Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City.
With only a handful of games left, Love may be out for the rest of the season. He will not be allowed to play until he is cleared by the league’s director of the concussion program.
