Finalists Announced for Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals
Three finalists, one of which will replace the Honorable Thomas L. Johnson once his term is up, for the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals were named by Governor Mark Dayton last Friday.
According to Dayton’s statement, Judges Bradley J. Behr, Manuel J. Cervantes, and Philip B. Moosbrugger will be undergoing an interview process in the next few weeks before the final judge to be appointed to the position will be determined. Currently, Behr works as a Workers’ Compensation Judge at the Office of Administrative Hearings, Cervantes works at the Office of Administrative Hearings as an Administrative Law Judge, and Moosbrugger works in the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry as the Workers’ Compensation Ombudsman.
The Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals sees workers’ compensation cases, rendering judgements on these claims.
