Minneapolis officer injured in foot chase

On May 30, a Minneapolis police officer sustained minor injuries while responding to a fight between two men, the Star Tribune stated.

The incident occurred at around 3:00 p.m. when police officers responded to a fight on the north side of Minneapolis. Upon arrival, the two suspects fled and a foot chase ensued between officers and the suspects, one armed with a gun. An officer sustained injuries during the chase but stated that it did not come from a gunshot.

The suspects were reportedly arrested and hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
