OSHA examining Kellogg factory accident
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) agents in Nebraska are investigating an accident in a Kellogg’s factory that resulted in two workers injured, ketv.com reported on September 5.
According to reports, the accident happened on September 4 when the two outsourced contractors were repairing a waste bin on the property of the Kellogg’s plant in Omaha. Both contractors were believed to have sustained serious injuries from the accident. OSHA reportedly will need several months to fully conduct their investigation. This incident follows another OSHA citation only months ago involving unsafe belts on several machines in their factories.
Sadly many American workers have to suffer lost wages after being injured in the workplaces. The Minnesota lawyers of Robert Wilson & Associates strongly believe that injured employees should be entitled to workers’ compensation benefits for the best chance at a fast recovery.
