Worker hospitalized in Marshall construction mishap

A man working on a construction site in Marshall, Minnesota was taken to a hospital in South Dakota after he was involved in a workplace accident. Information coming from authorities revealed that a worker, whose name has been withheld to protect his privacy, was trapped after a concrete wall fell on him at the Lyon County Courthouse at around 1:00 in the afternoon.

The Marshall Fire crews worked together with the victim’s co-workers to try and extract the trapped man. The injured worker was later airlifted to a medical facility in Sioux Falls after being admitted at the Avera Medical Center. The severity of the victim’s injuries is still unknown.
