3 injured in Minnesota workplace blast caused by faulty machinery
A workplace accident resulted in three workers injured in Eden Valley, Minnesota after machinery exploded, a report of Independent Review stated on November 15.
According to reports, at 2:19 p.m. on November 10, authorities in Meeker County were notified of a dust collector that erupted outside the building of Schlangen’s Custom Cabinets. Reports have confirmed that three of the company’s workers, 46-year-old Duane Stang, 57-year-old James Thielen, and 39-year-old Scott Thielen, suffered burn-related injuries from the blast and fire. An air ambulance was necessary to immediately transport Stang to a hospital, but his injuries were considered non-life-threatening. Scott and James, on the other hand, sustained only minor injuries, but they were also transported to a hospital for treatment. Several fire department units assisted Eden Valley Fire crews in containing the fire.
