2 people killed in Highway 14 crash
Two people were killed on Friday night in southeast Minnesota during an auto accident that occurred on Highway 14.
The accident happened at around 2:30 a.m. near Byron. A 22-year-old man was driving westbound when a car traveling east in the westbound lane struck the man’s vehicle. The 22-year-old man, as well as an 18-year-old man who was sitting in the car’s backseat, died in the accident.
The accident is currently being investigated by the State Highway Patrol, and it has been reported that alcohol may have been a factor in the accident.
