Wisconsin man injured in construction accident

A 41-year-old man from Green Bay, Wisconsin was recently injured while working on a construction site in Fond du Lac County.

The accident occurred at around 5 p.m. on Townline Road. The man, who worked for a painting company that was repainting the steel of an overpass, was climbing a ladder when he suddenly fell off of it. He fell a total of 25 feet and hit some scaffolding on the way down.

The man was airlifted to Theda Clark Medical Center to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. The man was wearing a safety harness at the time of the accident, however, it was not connected to a safety line. Officials will be investigating the accident.
