Young child severely burned

An 11 year-old boy is in serious but stable condition at the hospital after he was seriously burned earlier this week.

The boy and his 13 year-old friend were playing with a lighter and rubbing alcohol when he suffered severe burns to his head, arms, and chest. He was flown to the hospital Monday night. It was not noted whether or not the teenager sustained burn injuries.

Local law enforcement believes the incident was accidental.
