Two road workers injured in an I-35 work zone

Two workers suffered from injuries when a vehicle hit their truck as they placed traffic cones on I-35 in Minnesota, ABC 5 News reported on June 22.

According to reports, the incident happened at around 4:00 p.m., northbound of Interstate 35 on Cliff Road. Workers Ronald McDein, 43, and Dennis Scott, 57, were reportedly blocking a road lane for construction work when the accident occurred. McDein sustained serious injuries from the accident while Scott sustained minor injuries. The driver of the vehicle that struck the workers was not injured. The Minnesota Department of Transportation cautioned motorists to be aware of road workers.
